I haven’t watched the entire thing (I’m a slave to creating content for you people!) but what I have seen is pretty durn good. Download or stream Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods (2010) with Grant Morrison, Patrick Meaney for free on hoopla. He has a new book-book out, called Supergods: What Masked Vigilantes, Miraculous Mutants, and a Sun God from Smallville Can Teach Us About Being Human, which means it’s a good time to check out this documentary about the man and his use of magic, his use of drugs and his use of superheroes. With Jason Aaron, Abigail Bader, Amber Benson, Karen Berger. I get that Batman pays better, but I’d like to see him get back to more adult, more philosophical, more mind-fucking stuff on a regular basis. Grant Morrison: Talking with Gods: Directed by Patrick Meaney. Morrison’s output has been a touch dodgy of late - while his Batman: RIP arc was shockingly well done, Final Crisis was sort of junk and he’s spending way too much time in the DC Universe instead of doing personal, weird work like The Filth. The comic book writer is my personal favorite (ever? Possibly ever), and I believe his series The Invisibles is simply the greatest use of the comic book medium to date. Grant Morrison is sort of the Scottish Jodorowsky, except with fewer films under his belt.
